Live Music and Huckleberry Mojitos!

If you're in the mood for some specialty cocktails and guacamole that is made right in front of your table then look no further. Barbacoa has some of the best drinks and views in Boise. They have a "buy one get one" drink special happy hour everyday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with reduced-priced drinks and wells on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to close. If you're looking for a rooftop view during the summer, you can head up to their rooftop "Luna Bar" which opens at 4:00 pm from Wednesday to Saturday (seasonally and weather permitting.) On Fridays and Saturdays you can also enjoy a live DJ set on the rooftop Luna Bar at 9:00 pm.

Some of my personally favorite drinks on happy hour at Barbacoa are the Huckleberry Mojitos made with real huckleberries and a cane sugar stick. Another favorite is the XXX which is made with Smirnoff Grapefruit Vodka, X-Rated & Fresh Sour. Some of their cocktails, like the lemon drop or cosmopolitan, are served inside of a cup made of ice.
